It should be well known by any reader that predicting the future is a tricky business. Some of the scenarios and trends presented here may be contradictory. That is intentional. An important lesson, and perhaps the main benefit, of trying to predict the future is being able to recognize different scenarios when they eventually happen.

Financial advice disclaimer

Do not invest money solely based on the forecasts presented here. The author is not a registered financial advisor and the material here do not constitute investment advice, nor is it recommended to buy or sell and financial instrument based on the opinions expressed here. I cannot know your risk tolerance and the time horizon for the investment, so it is a priori impossible to give sensible advice. To further emphasize this, I do not always trade on my own advice, neither should you. It is important to remember that the author may have a position in any company or security mentioned herein. Actions you undertake as a consequence of any analysis, opinion or advertisement on this site are your sole responsibility. It is often said that there are no good free investment advice available on the internet, there is just bad advice, or advice given in self-interest.

Notwithstanding, my general investment advice for people without the need for sophisticated wealth management is to look into robo-advising using mutual or exchange-traded funds (ETF). For a bit more sophistication, one could look into cloning hedge funds and famous investors, or a trend-following approach using ETFs, see e.g. Meb Faber's work. These are low effort approaches that are likely beat many professional fund managers.
